Marvel The Incredible Hulk Production Proof PP13. Production Proof (PP) Description. Authentic Images produced an initial sheet of cards prior to the full run of production. These cards were used to “proof” the cards for any errors prior to the run and also to be used as samples given to the licensing groups, potential exclusive customers, etc. The number of Production Proofs were (18) cards and were engraved PP1 -PP 18 to designate “proof status”. Additionally there may be PP’s that are blank (no PP marking in LE area) in rare cases due to timing. Each Authentic Images 24K Gold Metal Card collectible is created using an exclusive “PhotoGold” patented process where 24K Gold is applied to a stainless steel base creating the photographic image. Produced in 1996 to commemorate one of the four greatest classic Marvel Characters of all time, Spider Man, Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer and of course Captain America.
