Up for sale is a 10″ x 15″ Bainbridge art board with acrylic and airbrushed painting original art by Nelson DeCastro, known professionally as Nelson, a comic book artist known for his airbrushed cover art, and his interior penciling, inking and coloring work. Nelson’s career began in the early 1990s, doing cover work and publishing his creator-owned work for Dark Horse Comics, before becoming a frequent artist for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics. This art was created for the 1995 Fleer “Marvel Masterpieces” trading card set. The art is for the X-Force/X-Men character Cable (now starring in “Deadpool 2″) and was for card #14. The image area measures 7-7/8″ x 11.25″. Has some age spotting on the bottom margin, but art remains bright. Still clean and displays well. This would look great professionally framed.
