It was made by Polaroid originally to make Marvel holographic polarized sunglasses! I have never seen another sheet in person (just on the web). It measures 8″ x 10″ and has 4 full holograms. The original layer of removable film for protection is still attached (I would not remove it, it in no way hinders the hologram). The actual color is transparent (2nd photo) I have a black background behind it to show off the colors better. The great thing with these are that you get to see the entire image on the hologram, which you never could on the actual sunglasses, since the nosepiece would be cut out and the edges clipped to fit onto the lenses. They were never distributed to the public, most were saved from employees or workers that helped manufacture these. This piece was saved by a plant employee that took it home to give to his son. Hologram wants to curl so in some pictures I had to try and hold it in place from curling -On the right side the backing is cut off so about a half inch of just the cell is showing, it goes thru card 4 on the rightside -Theres some veining in different spots on this sheet, veining is pretty common for Polaroid holograms (pic 2 Carnage) -There are what look like scratches near the bottom, these arent scratches, they are creases on the back from a factory error (pic 7). Top section has an indent (wont be noticeable if hologram is laying flat or if framed) (pic 10). There are some light fine scratches but nothing crazy. Edit – Getting some questions that I wanted to share Image Quality? – Image is crisp thru out the entire sheet. Sometimes with the blue/purple tints the image quality decreases but thats not the case with this sheet, everything is crisp, hologram has no blurry spots, and hologram is consistent thru out. Usually with the blue/purple tinted hologram you need a crazy amount of light but thats not the case with this sheet. I had an overhead light on when I took these pictures of the sheet. The tint is the common green/orange/red depending on the angle. 2nd Hologram Spiderman Vs Venom Cell – There is no backing for this hologram These were meant to be sunglasses for kids, one lens had Spiderman and the other Venom. This uncut sheet are pretty common – because its just a cell with no backing the best way to display is with a piece of black paper behind the cell so the image pops.
