Aside from the 1996 Marvel Masterpieces box, which is more or less in a category of its own, the 1995 Marvel Masterpieces box has always been one of my absolute favorite boxes to open. Not only is the art on the base cards incredible, but the combination of possible cool and collectible chase cards featured in this box was second to none (See my descriptions below). This is truly one fun and exciting box to open. The box contains 36 packs of 10 cards each. The 1995 MARVEL MASTERPIECES. Card set is the second most popular and second most sought after set, albeit quite a distant second to the 1996 Masterpieces set. The exceptional artwork was done by only 4 artists (Dave Devries, Peter Scanlan, Dimitrios Patelis, and Nelson), and it is very impressive. The super heroes/super villains that loyal Marvel followers expect to see. The first 114 cards consist of 38 super heroes/super villains, each painted once by 3 of the 4 featured artists.
